Man's deceit sparks duel and arrest in Lemon area

Otto Rodenberg, running a Lemon hotel, faced trouble after wooing Miss Birdie Rice, a former Courant compositor. She fired a revolver at him, tearing the floor. Tragic Accident Claims Young Stipleton Life

Twelve year old Earl Stipleton, son of Mr. and Mrs. David Stipleton, died after a fracture skull sustained when a mishap occurred at work in a barn. Found unconscious Sunday afternoon, medical aid failed to save him. Burial followed at the Catholic cemetery Wednesday as the family mourns a severe loss.
