In Sisseton high school action the locally powered girls team edged Wilmot 19 to 16 after a 14 14 deadlock at halftime and a five minute overtime. Miss Madsen led the visitors with seven field goals and two free throws while Miss Anderson added seven goals for Sisseton. The game featured fast passing and strong center play as both squads showcased skill and crowd energy.

H L Mussetter Poland China sale at Sisseton on Feb 24 drew a good crowd. Top price paid was 310 for one hog with average 123 and 310 peak. Twenty two lots sold, many bred to the herd boar Defeater. Mr Mellenhoff of Browns Valley bought the three highest priced hogs, including the 310 top bid.
