Lester Price Dies After Illness In Sisseton
Lester Price, 26, long-time Sisseton resident born in Langford North Dakota, died Wednesday after a tuberculosis illness. He married Maggie Simmons on June 19 five years ago and is survived by his wife, three children, a brother Earl of Britton, and his parents in Texas. Funeral held Thursday at two, burial in Sisseton Cemetery. he was a member of Modern Woodmen of America.

Lightning kills farmer in Goodwill township
Killed by a lightning bolt Wednesday noon arl Bennett a well known farmer of Goodwill township was struck as he walked behind a team in his field after unhooking during a shower. He died instantly the bolt hitting the back of his head. Survived by a wife and three children and a brother Claude the family receives sincere sympathy from neighbors.

Celebrations Planned Across Towns for Independence Day
Great preparations are being made for celebrations this 4th at numerous places. Equity people plan a big time at the Mission in Goodwill township. Illinois settlers of Roberts county have completed arrangements for a picnic at the W. B. Warland and Spence Marvick groves in Enterprise. Indians will hold the annual celebration at the Agency Fair Grounds. Hiantford also plans its usual celebration.
