Fourth Annual Amateur Tournament Opens At Sisseton

The Fourth Annual Amateur Tournament, under Sisseton Gun Club, will be held August 4 with a full program of events. Officials expect several crack shooters and representation from local clubs and the state. Added prize money includes First $1.80, Second $3.11, Third $3.00 and promotional items from local merchants. events feature target shooting and prizes such as an Ithaca gun and clothing store hats.

The Shoot at Pickerel Lake Brawl Between Clubs

Members of the Sisseton Gun Club visited Pickerel Lake last Sunday to answer a Webster Club challenge. Both sides posted fair scores but the Sisseton group dominated the Webster contingent, while all reported a good time and praised the Webster shooters as dead game sports.
