Died Quite Suddenly Jens Rasmussen Near Effington

The well known single man Jens Rasmussen died suddenly at 5 p m last Friday. Suspected ptomaine poisoning from noon meal prompted an inquest that was halted by legal objection. burial occurred after the coroner’s jury ruled death from natural causes. Rasmussen, well to do, reportedly sought to make a will but could not sign. Rumors persist of a possible claim by Mrs Rivness based on marriage. L Hald of Effington is a second cousin with Minneapolis relatives.

Circuit Court Judge Bouck convened Tuesday. Geo Woodbeck of Mar county pled guilty to selling intoxicating liquors and paid a 100 dollar fine. The FP WY railroad gravel pit case faces postponement to Saturday due to absent lawyers.
