Joseph Egrmayer alleged to have shot his brother George in Twin Brooks Monday night was released Tuesday as no warrant for arrest was signed. Initial trouble began in a saloon. a melee broke the door, and Egrmayer fired with a revolver, striking George who was not fatally wounded. Citizens petitioned for his release.

Ebba Ecklund died of pneumonia at her home near Eden in Marshall county on a Tuesday age about ten after a brief illness. J A McDonald of St. Cloud Minnesota, brother of Thos McDonald of Sisseton, SD, died suddenly of heart trouble. McDonald was a longtime mayor and prominent businessman. Thos McDonald attended his funeral with many citizens and G A R members.
