Under the latest land office ruling, any person who prior to Feb 8 1908 made entry under homestead laws but lost or abandoned it shall be entitled to homestead benefits as if the former entry had not been made, and any applying for a second homestead must furnish the description and date of the former entry, except where the former entry was cancelled for fraud or relinquished for valuable consideration.
