The town of Rock Valley Iowa invites bids for constructing a waterworks system. Bids due Sept 22 1897 at 2 pm at the mayoris office. Plans and specs available after Sept 7 1897. The project includes a 4 00 gallon wooden tank on a steel superstructure pumping stations engines and pumps, long pipe runs and hydrants. A certified check of six percent is required with bids. The council may select gasoline or steam plants open or drive wells and may accept bids without certain power options. The mayor is IT Scuesaten.
