First Bankruptcy Hearing Under New County Law
The county held its first hearing in bankruptcy under the new law before John E. Orr. Frank T. Walker of Hawarden faced creditors after an January assignment. Attorneys from Sioux City Hawarden and Hawarden attended as creditors examined the bankrupt. The session adjourned to March 27 to name a trustee.
