Electric Mail Box Uses Water Elevation System in Geneva

A Swiss electrician has invented an electric mail delivery box now used in large Geneva buildings. Letters dropped to the ground floor trigger a bell on their target floor and release water to raise a counterweight, lifting the box to that floor. Each story receives its mail via a spring mechanism that drops items into the corridor box. The system resets as the box descends, with water flow controlled to reset weight and position. If a stray piece remains, it moves through the same cycle again.
