District Court Proceedings Open with Blood Murder Case
The February term of the District Court convened last Monday in Orange City with Judge Hutchinson presiding. Foreman Frank Gardner and a large grand jury were seated, hearing numerous assignments, defaults, guardianships, and de cree. Revival Meetings Open At M E Church In Hull
Revival services began at the M E church on Tuesday the 7th but cold weather kept many away until Evangelist Benedict arrived Saturday and took charge Sunday. The house was crowded and meetings will continue indefinitely led by the evangelist and pastor. Dr. Sheperd, a former health restorer, was visiting town and left for Le Mars midweek. Mrs. Lou Stutzman left Wednesday for a three week visit near Des Moines. Miss Mamie Doan attended the Epworth League Assembly in Sheldon from Saturday to Monday. Harry Swatford left for St Louis last Saturday, and Will Dean left Friday for Des Moines to attend school.
