The roster includes Frances C Axtel Harriet Stanton Blaton Jennie Buell and Elizabeth Mauser among others. The campaign aligns with Mrs Robert M La Follette and cites suffrage leadership in Wisconsin. In Detroit on July 15 Senator Follette’s bid was cited as likely to hurt Democrats about evenly with Republicans according to Secretary of Agriculture Henry C Wallace.
