McUngaor and JA Finch Free Miners for Crown Grant alterations to properties on Springer Creek and Lamon Creek. Also Galena Mines Limited appoints Evan Frank Wood as Town Office attorney in place of Percy Vancouver. date February 4, 1899.
The creditors of Galena Minfs Limited must lodge their debts with full details and solicitor information by the specified date. Notices must name creditors, addresses, debt particulars, and solicitor details to Evan Frank Hloyd the Liquidator’s agent. failure to prove debt may exclude from distribution.
Reports from Sanden describe a mine owners meeting protesting a recent eight hour shift law with a daily 310 fine for overtime. London delegates plan to visit Victoria Minister of Mines to verify the act. Mine owners warn workers and press claim of high wages and wage resistance. Local claim distances are disputed as inaccuracies.
