Fidelity property near Silverton shows strong ore leads

The Fidelity mine near Silverton and New Denver, discovered less than a year ago by Frank Byron, and owned by Byron, Holts, and Arthur Williamson, has shipped over 100 tons of high grade ore. Development includes three tunnels, a winze, and several drifts revealing a broad vein with substantial ore and high silver values, including lead and occasional zinc. The owners are praised for rapid development and quality results.

Slocan Mines Send Ore Samples to Freiberg University

McNaught shipped ore samples from Slocan district to Freiberg University in Germany in response to a letter from M H Schmidt. Schmidt, a leading mining figure, praises Slocan as the best mining camp.
