Labor Leaders Adopt Resolutions After Latimer Shooting
The American Federation of Labor executive council met in Washington. They planned to send measures to President McKinley for his next congressional message. Eli Walter Johnson died at Central near Silver City New Mexico on the 11th. He left a wife, two daughters, a son, and a daughter in Kennedy and Bridgeport. He was 55, born in Denmark, and had been a builder in Virginia City before later mining.
