Relic Button Story From Hancock Coat Battle Gettysburg
A well dressed man sells a Gettysburg relic button from General Hancock to a pawnshop for five dollars claiming it was shot from the General's coat. Multiple townsfolk copy the tale, confessing to passing around similar buttons as relics. The scam ends with a worthless bill and the buyer fleeing.
