The President's physicians reported a very comfortable night and strong hopes for a speedy recovery. A bulletin issued last night said he was strong and indicators favored recovery, with Roosevelt authorized to inform party leaders and friends.
Leon Czolgosz tells police he was born in Detroit and educated there before moving to Cleveland. He describes radical influences from Socialist texts and Evin Goldman, the trigger to kill President McKinley, and his plan formed on Tuesday to shoot the President on Pan American exposition day in Buffalo.
Oxsalguez describes planning and carrying out the attack on the President at the exposition grounds. He says he acted alone inspired by Emma Goldman and dismissed motives of any accomplice or group while denying ties to other anarchist movements.

John Halloway of French Camp Mississippi says thirty years of diarrhoea ended after using Chamberlain’s Colic Cholera and Diarrhoea Remedy. He reports regained strength and urges others to obtain the remedy from Brown Bros, Druggists.
The San Francisco Examiner notes rapid growth of the United Brotherhood of Railway Employees under E H Harriman and Southern Pacific scrutiny. Membership spreads from Southern Pacific workers to other lines, with officers named George Estes and B A Meyer. The piece also lists various medical and consumer ads present in the periodical.
