Battle Mountain Central Nevadan reports an Indian known as Fish Creek Jack killed a young squaw near Jacobi's ranch last Monday using a shotgun. The motive appears to be a love affair. Jack fled toward the wild range southwest of the ranch, barefoot and believed unable to escape.
