Vic DeLong sues W B Sallender D W McBride and Charles McBride in Nevada Fifth Judicial District Court Humboldt for foreclosing a miner's lien on the Granite King Mining Claim in the Potosi district. The lien totals 295.50 for 9814 days of work at 300 per day, with costs, seeking sale of the mine to satisfy the claim. Defendants must answer within 10 to 40 days or face default.
United States Land Office Carson City Nevada announces that F A Hyde of San Francisco California has filed to select an unsurveyed tract under the 1897 act. The claim covers NW quarter of Sec 22 and NE of NW quarter Sec 34 T28N R41W MDM. Protests within thirty days will be noted for reporting to the General Land Office. C I Gallup Register dated October 1900.

State Land Office in Carson City Nevada filed under the 1880 act to obtain a patent for lands listed as Siat No 234. Public inspection is allowed and protests must be filed within sixty days noting possible mineral value. Subdivision listed includes 80 acres in Sec 8 T 27 N R 82 E M D M.
The Humboldt County Nevada assessable roll is received by the County Treasurer. State and county taxes for the 1900 fiscal year are due now. Pay in full by December 3 1900 or half by then and half by June 3 1901. Delinquent after December 3 1900 with ten percent penalty. Poll taxes due with first payment.
