Section-house Robbery and Cook's Remains Found
A Humboldt Division section-house near Palisade was robbed last week with a gold chain and about $125 taken. Foremen and a sick Chinaman cook were involved. the cook’s remains were found by two Indians a quarter mile away, head hacked by an ax, suggesting murder. An inquest was planned to seek a robber and murderer.
