A Knoxville or Winnemucca style notice urges residents to consult their druggist for Kemp's Balsam for throat and lung complaints with trial sizes free. It promotes Brown Bros products including One Minute Cough Cure for children and De Witt's Little Early Risers as reliable laxatives.
An 19th century style advertisement claims Lane's Tea preserves beauty by keeping bowels and digestion healthy. It promises daily bowel movement relief, digestion cure, blood purification, clearer skin, and better appetite. Packages priced 25 cents and 50 cents. Sold by Brown Bros.
Notice to taxpayers of Humboldt County Nevada that the 1901 state and county taxes are due. Pay the full amount by December 2, 1901 or half by that date with the other half by June 3, 1902. Delinquent after December 2, 1901 incurs a ten percent penalty, poll taxes due with each payment, at the county treasurer’s office in Winnemucca Nevada.
