United States Land Office in Carson City Nevada on May 1 1897 lists lands selected by the state to satisfy a 2 000 000 acre transfer under an act of June. Descriptive subdivisions are available for inspection. Within sixty days protests can be filed at the General Land Office in Washington DC contesting the state's claim on bases of mineral versus agricultural value. Failure to protest implies acceptance of non mineral character and approval of the selection.
Notice is given that Randall Sage has filed a homestead final proof for parcel in Humboldt County Nevada. Proof will be presented June 9 1597 before the County Clerk Winnemucca Nevada. Witnesses: Bird Parker Robertan Clarence Sage Guss McAninch all of McDermitt Dermitt Nevada. O H Gallup Register.
Notice is hereby given to all interested in the estate of Samuel Streiff. The District Court of the Second Judicial District, Humboldt County Nevada, requires appearance on May 17, 1897 at 10:00 a.m. in Winne mucca courthouse to show cause why an order of distribution of the residue should not be made to heirs and entitled persons.
