A French physician patents a device claimed to revive lifeless bodies by alternately moving water in an upright tube to imitate breathing. The apparatus uses an air chamber, a gauze center, and nasal or mouth pieces to attach to the body, supplying oxygen to renew life if decomposition has not set in.
