Authorities persuaded them to move the train to Winnemucca under guard, with provisions provided and orders to depart soon. The group, now over eighty, were well behaved, many American born workers and not tramps. More contingents are expected en route between Sacramento and Winnemucca. A local gold find near Ione Canyon is described as promising with prospects of flour gold in multiple gulches. Buckleham's Dye is touted for gray hair coloring.
