Silve of Golconda is in town. W. B. Johnson, a Chicago horsebuyer, arrived yesterday. Miss Laura Miller returned to Carlin on No. 6 yesterday. Dr. L. F. Jones, formerly of Winnemucca, has located at Lovelock. Commissioners Morey and Westfall arrived from Paradise valley and Lovelock. James Garat came from White Rock. B Reinhart & Co. received a carload of Buckeye mowers. Board of County Commissioners in regular session. The Gentry show will be in Winemucca on May 9 with Paradise valley represented. George Berk received grain fed parkers from W. C. Pitt. Rain or shine, show is on, with a waterproof tent. George Henkel received an Edison grand concert phonograph and a fine music selection. Parents urged to take children to see the Gentry show for education and amusement. I see the grand parade on Wednesday.

Lost Tin Mine Rediscovered In Nevada Range Tale Of Tin Ore
An old timers tale of a lost tin mine near Sand Springs in Churchill County Nevada surfaces again after a San Francisco group offered $5,000 for its rediscovery. Local claimants Smart & Harrigan and neighbour Towle report ore samples showing tin with alloyed content, assayed as high as 17.63 percent tin and other minerals. authorities plan further tests at Swansea, Wales. A four foot ore body lies northeast of Sand Springs, with multiple parties staking locations and preparing shipments for processing.
