Knowledge links comfort and improvement to the pure liquid laxative Syrup of Figs. The remedy cleanses the system without weakening kidneys, liver, or bowels and has earned medical approval. Sold in 50¢ and 81¢ bottles by druggists, manufactured only by the California Fig Syrup Co.

An official at the Carson City mint explains that a $20 double eagle is 1.075 troy ounces and .900 fine. The gold content is weight times fineness divided by 900, yielding the standard gold in the coin. Also includes assorted patent medicine ads.
Notice is given bids will be received until March 2 18 for furnishing supplies and inmate care at the county hospital per month payable quarterly per inmate.
