An advertisement extols Dr. Pierce’s medicines for women suffering from weakness, pain, and nervous disorders. It claims his treatment restores beauty, vitality, and motherly health, asserting cures for infertility and uterine troubles through testimonials and physician endorsements.
Notice records a 1809 land office filing by William J. McColley and others to prove residence and cultivation on a homestead in McDermit Nevada. The filing, before Clerk of Humboldt County in Win Nevada, lists witnesses Charles L Lawry Joan K Crandall and Baker of McDermit and names OIL GALLUP, Register.
Hereby given that the settlor has filed notice of intent to make final proof in support of his application before the Humboldt County Clerk at WIT field ion Nevada on Wednesday May 3 1801 for the land in section 17 and lot 5 ranch east. Witnesses named: William J McColley Charles Lowry Charles Chute and Noel Baker all of MeDermit Nevada. HL Gallup Register.
