Brakeman Run Over Near Hafed Siding

Trvin Ross, a brakeman between Truckee and Wadsworth, suffered severe injuries after trying to step onto a locomotive pilot and being crushed between the rails as his train entered Hafed siding. He was dragged twenty yards before the train stopped, with life‑altering injuries stated likely.
