Reports indicate a 250 horsepower hoist ordered for the Reno Star mine. The California Nevada Borax Company releases figures showing post Civil War output rising from 12 tons in 1865 to 970000 pounds in 1873 and a total Nevada yield of 69918985 pounds, with prices falling from 46 to 7 cents per pound. The firm controls 3000 acres in Churchill County with refining works near Lovelock and plans shipping three railroad cars monthly.
A neighbor’s infant with cholera infantum improved in two days after using Chamberlain's Colic Cholera and Diarrhoea Remedy per directions. Mrs Curtis Baker of Bookwalter Ohio endorses the remedy and notes its successful recovery. Brown Bros. Druggists sell the product.
In the Fifth Judicial District Court Humboldt County Nevada the estate of C A L Bolle deceased is shown. Executor F M Buckingham has filed final account and a petition for distribution. A hearing is set July 2 1901 at 10 AM in Winnemucca to show cause why the account should be approved and distribution decree made. Clerk J T Dunn signs.
Bids will be received for a trench four miles long from the lower to the upper reservoir at Winnemucca Water and Light Company. Trench dimensions are two feet by two and a half feet, with completion in thirty days. Separate or joint contracts for four miles of pipe hauling from the Southern Pacific depot and along the trench line.
The Fifth Judicial District Court of Nevada Humboldt County appoints Peter Woolcock administrator of Mary Woolcock's estate. Creditors must file claims with vouchers with the Clerk within forty days of the first publication. Dated June 6 1901.
