An advertisement extols Syrup of Figs as a pure liquid laxative that cleanses the system and eases fevers and headaches. It claims broad medical approval, targets the kidneys liver and bowels without weakening them, and notes bottles are sold by druggists in 50c and 1.00 sizes, manufactured only by the California Fig Syrup Co.
Travel notices report tickets sold and baggage handling through eastern destinations. Insurance tickets issued to J A Ferraro, agent. Office hours listed with morning and evening slots and Sunday schedule.
