An old advertisement promotes Scott's Emulsion for weak lungs and coughs. It claims cod liver oil strengthens tissues and glycerine heals, with hypophosphites boosting vigor. One bottle could be more effective now than ten later, urging buyers to obtain the product from druggists.
A fragmented directory page lists state officers such as senators and treasurer and county roles including sheriff clerk auditor and recorder district attorney and surveyor with scattered names and titles across several counties. The legible portions hint at a formal roster of public offices and incumbents rather than explanatory text.
The ad touts Chamberlain's Eye and Skin Ointment as instantly relieving intense itching and smarting from eczema tetter and salt rheum and claims cures for severe cases. Also promotes it for itching piles sore nipples chapped hands frost bites and chronic sore eyes sold by druggists at 25 cents a box. It closingly mentions Dr Cady's Condition Powders as a blood purifier and vermifuge for horses in bad condition.
