Water Outlook for Winnemucca Remains Limited Without Snow
Superintendent Rangon warns that with little snow at Cross canyon head and only six weeks of potential storms left, Winnemucca could face a very limited water supply next summer. Humboldt headwaters show some snow, with hopes for late month and February storms to secure irrigation water for Lovelock and river farms. Paradise valley reports light snowfall but farmers expect sufficient rains to meet irrigation needs. Local notice adds Hoyle and Graham present His Better Half at Armory hall next Friday, with reserved seats at Diehl's Book Store.
