Kimberley Cleared of Boers in Early February Action

Kimberley reports the surrounding country as free after Boer forces evacuated Dronfield Saltpan Spietfontein and Sholtznek. A 12 pounder gun with ammunition and the Dronfield laager were captured or abandoned. Rails toward Modder river are being laid and cattle herds were seized.
