It claims benefits for kidneys liver and bowels, relieves constipation, colds headaches and fevers, and notes satisfaction from millions and medical approval. Sold by druggists in 50 cent and 1 dollar bottles, manufactured only by the California Fig Syrup Co.
Fragmentary schedule note describing tickets and baggage handling for travelers, referencing Pacific Company timetables and an agent A Prennano. Partial text mentions Insurance tickets and sol 4.
A wild collection of odd stories from the American West and Midwest. Reports claim an Indiana man died after eating charcoal revealing a mull diamond pin in his liver while a California tale noted a man’s death after sauer kraut led to a box of ninety seven Colorado Claro cigars in his left fang. A Pink Eye canyon Colorado chicken supposedly yielded $140 in gold coins from gravel in its gizzard. The piece also promotes No To Bac tobacco cure with a sales pitch from Sterling Remedy Co.
