Reports detail claims that Mrs. Nettie Craven bribed a justice to witness a marriage to Senator Fair. Justice Simpson swore he performed the ceremony, then later recanted, saying Craven offered him 10 000 to lie. Simpson intends to exposeCraven at the proper time.
