Ad claims know how Mafors improve life by using the best products for health. It touts Syrup of Figs as a perfect laxative cleansing the system and aiding kidneys liver and bowels. Sold by druggists in 50¢ and 81 bottles, manufactured by California Fig Syrup Co. with its name on every package.
Fragmentary notes show tickets sold and baggage processed to eastern points. Mentions Travelers Insurance and an agent named Penni A.
Sevark Macxrews reports one week’s run of the old furnace at Scott Mountain yielding 100000 pounds of bullion worth 200 per ton in silver. The Prevour Receiver notes January freight and coal ore totals at this station, weather delays aside. Humboldt mill shipped a bullion bar valued at $1500 from Pride of the Mountain ore. Stock prices on the San Francisco board listed. A rail bill, proposed by Senator Stampley, seeks right of way from Mill City to Unionville and Winnemucca to Paradise valley with subsidies. Spauro freight and bullion movements continue from South Mountain to Silver City. No-To-Bac advertisement.
Humboldt County Nevada offers 52000 interest bearing bonds to fund bonded debt. Bonds run 3 to 18 years, 5 percent interest, payable semi annually. Bids must be at least 98 percent of par with 2 percent bid cash or certified check. Bid deadline noon April 1st in Winnemucca. Chairman A Trousdale reserves right to reject all bids.
The company ordered a fine assortment of masks to be sold at reduced prices for the event. Costumes will be home made and gendered costume rules apply with restrictions on dancing without masks.
By order of the committee priced admission for male spectators at one dollar, with dancing contingent on paying the full ticket price of one dollar and fifty cents.
