Josiah Gilbert revisits the Comstock to scout English mining capital. The first Reno to Olinghouse ore shipment for Wadsworth Milling Co. will need 24 000 feet of lumber for a new mill on the Adams Bros placer claim at the gulch foot. spring will bring four mills. The Rocco Homestake Co. reports 1900 output of 2 211 229 pounds lead and 2381 ounces silver, with $25 000 in the treasury and no debt. a $4 500 dividend is due January 10. Five untapped mine levels remain, with twelve men prospecting. ores show 14 oz silver and 65% lead on average.
