Reed Aides To Propose House Rules After Recess
The committee on rules will present a new code after the holiday recess to readopt the old rules with few changes. Representative Barrett of Massachusetts will be heard on two amendments to expand minority rights in presenting amendments and in debating time. Barrett, a former speaker in Massachusetts, urges changes not expected to pass the committee.
