An advertisement extols Syrup of Figs as a pure laxative with pleasant taste that cleanses the system, boosts kidneys liver and bowels, and cures constipation without weakening organs. It claims medical approval and lists 50c and 1 bottles sold by druggists, manufactured only by the California Fig Syrup Co.
Time tables announced with tickets sold and baggage handled to all eastern points. Travelers insurance tickets also marketed, with J A Percaro acting as agent.
The Wadsworth Dispatch reports at the Jim Blaine mine on the 100 foot level a twelve inch ledge of sixty dollar rock. At 165 feet depth the ledge widens to eighteen inches of one hundred dollar rock.
