Lake Linderman N W T reports from August 7 about 500 people building boats for Klondike descent. Skagway trail opened, 200 reached Twyes Lake, trail 50 miles long with pack capable of moving 280 people. 1000 camped at Skagway expect to reach lakes in ten days, most travel shifting from Dyea route.
