The intense itching and smarting of eczema fetter salt rheum and other skin diseases are instantly allayed by Chamberlains Eye and Skin Iniment. It has cured many bad cases and is useful for itching piles sore nipples shelved hands chilblains frost bites and chronic sore eyes. Sold by druggists for 25 cents per box.
Secretary Day announces a protocol outlining terms of peace with Spain including evacuation of Cuba and Porto Rico. The terms match the president's note from a week earlier and signatures will follow after formalities. Adee drafted the formal agreement with input from the president and Secretary Day to avoid future misunderstandings.

Delegates are apportioned by district with four from Lovelock Rye Fateh and Humboldt and Winnemucca four, one from Unionville Mill City Dun Glen, Kennedy Golconda and Norths, one from Rebel Creek McDermit Bartlett and Kings River, one from Paradise Willow Point, and four from Winnemucca. Voters meet at 1 pm to 5 pm on Saturday August 20 to select judges of election and mail results to Nixon Winnemucca Nevada.
