An advertisement extols Syrup of Figs as a pure liquid laxative that cleanses the system without weakening organs. It claims quick relief from headaches fevers and constipation and notes it appeals to health minded consumers. Sold in 50¢ and $1 bottles by druggists and manufactured only by the California Fig Syrup Co.
Tickets sold to all eastern points with baggage checked through. Travelers Insurance tickets are sold by J A Ferraro, Agent.
The Ogden Press reports a company circular announcing rewards for faithful service with five year marks. Conductors will receive a gold band on their coat every five years and two suits after ten years. porters get a silver card instead. The plan aims to honor loyal workers and help distinguish old employees from new. Floriston fire causes and affected properties listed follow.

Includes cash balances in county treasury and apportionments to funds such as school, state, road, interest, general road, indigent sick, contingent, salary, and various county and district school funds.
