An advertisement for Scott's Emulsion promotes pure cod liver oil blended with hypophosphites of lime and soda as a tasty tonic. It claims to check wasting, quickly improve strength, and notes a price of $1.00 with the wrapper showing the brand and druggists reference.
The text promotes Chamberlain's Skin Ointment for eczema tetter salt rheum and related itchy skin conditions with claims of permanent cures. It also advertises Dr Cady's Condition Powders as a tonic blood purifier vermifuge and suitable for horses, priced for skin ailments at 25 cents per box.
Travel ad cites daily Winnemucca departures at 2 15 p m for Chicago in 6 149 hours and other city times with through Pullman and dining car service. It advertises 3 percent on time deposits, agents for major fire insurance firms, and strong facilities for stockmen, merchants, mining firms, and individuals with ample East West State correspondents.
