End of a Tragedy in Sharon Like Last Scene

The death of George W. Tyler in Alameda marks the end of the Sharon tragedy as the last celebrated actor dies. Senn ator Sharon fell early in the play and Judge Terry perished by a deputy US marshal. Mrs Terry is confined in a madhouse, and Tyler, disbarred and penniless, lingered after a war wound. The moral centers on avarice and the money of the deceased senator.
