Advertises Syrup of Figs as a pure liquid laxative with pleasant taste, cleansing effect on kidneys liver and bowels, claimed to ease colds headaches fevers and constipation. States product is manufactured by the California Fig Syrup Co and sold by druggists in 50c and 81 bottles with the company name on every package.
Travelers insurance tickets sold and baggage cheered through to eastern points as timetable notices circulate among travelers seeking onward passage and coverage updates.
The death of George W. Tyler in Alameda marks the end of the Sharon tragedy as the last celebrated actor dies. Senn ator Sharon fell early in the play and Judge Terry perished by a deputy US marshal. Mrs Terry is confined in a madhouse, and Tyler, disbarred and penniless, lingered after a war wound. The moral centers on avarice and the money of the deceased senator.
Humboldt County Nevada invites bids for 52000 in interest bearing bonds to fund bonded debt. Bonds issued June 1 1895 pay 7 percent annual interest, redeemable after 3 years, minimum bid 88 percent of par, with a 2 percent bid security. Bids due May 20 1895 at Winnemucca office.
Humboldt Lodge No. 16 I C C F advertises regular meetings every Thursday evening at Oma eat See building at 7.9 Yelock time. Secretary Archer, Rask, and 3 BK listed as officers.
Ivanhoe Lodge No. 178 K of P meets regularly every Monday evening at 7:20 PM in Castle Hall located in the Silver State block. Brown serves as K of R and is noted in the notice.
Humboldt Chapter No 9 R A M states convocations occur the first Wednesday of each month at their hall the Silver State block Winnemnnecca ada. H P G A Krenkle, Secretary.
St James Lodge No 9 announces Tuesday drill at 7 30 pm and business meeting the first Tuesday each month at 7 pm. Company target practice on the first secure and third Saturdays of each month. Members in good standing invited to attend at Silver State hall with officers Muller Warren Wolf listed.
Winnemucca Lodge No 19 F and A M will hold stated communications at 7 30 p m on the first Saturday evening of each month in the Silver State block. All Master Masons in good standing are welcomed. Secretary LEWIS notes details.
