A Batch of Lies From the Virginia Enterprise
A Virginia Enterprise article is attacked as full of lies about the “Jay in New York” troupe visiting Winnemucca. The writer claims the paper exaggerates stage conditions, mocks local theater, and asserts only one truth: the hall is lit by kerosene. The piece defends Winnemucca’s reputation and condemns the Enterprise for falsehoods.
