Jasper mine tunnel yields new silver and lead ledges
Mr Reed finishes an 800 foot tunnel at the Jasper mine leased from A J Harrell. Low ore prices and transport costs left the property idle, but ore shipments will resume after snow melts. Reed uncovers two new ledges of silver and lead in addition to the main ore body, and a large work force will be deployed this summer.
