A car skidded on a wet road north of Manchester and landed in a ditch. All four occupants escaped serious injury. The back wheel broke to splinters and the front axle bent. The vehicle was moved to a barn on the old Leifel farm for clearance.
John Ulsh died at his home last Friday after a three week illness. Funeral services were held Sunday at the Lutheran Church with Rev. Ryberger officiating. Interment followed at a nearby cemetery. Ulsh, eighty seven, had lived in this community for many years, moving from a farm near Roan. He had suffered rheumatism in later years and spent time in a nursing setting.
The funeral was held at the Lutheran Church Sunday at ten o clock conducted by Rev A Z Bryber wer with many friends present. The remains were buried at Snitch cemetery west of Roau.
