Ernest Metzger age three died last week east of here from cholera infantum. An older brother, five, is recovering from illness noted as improving. Parents Mr and Mrs Clarence Metzger are distressed by the loss in their family.
A corn show is being held in Warsaw this week along with a carnival. Crowds travel daily to the county capital for the events, drawing visitors and locals alike.
Captain Boughter a longtime conductor on the Michigan Division of the Big Four railroad died at his Benton Harbor home Sunday at age 71 after a stroke. He served in the Twelfth Indiana as Company F later Company I and was known for his generosity. He is survived by his wife and two children with funeral services held in Len an Harbor.
