Local fodder shed accident injures teen near Bus Gard school

Russell Schwenk, 17 or 18, son of Mr and Mrs Peter Schwenk, was struck on the head by a belt from a corn shredder at Carl Hettler’s near the Bus Gard school house. He lay unconscious, two head cuts were found, doctors treated him, and a possible brain blood clot may require surgery.

Dillman Baby Dies After Brief Illness

The infant daughter of Mr. and Mrs. Albert Dillman died Tuesday forenoon at their home after a life of illness. Funeral services were held Wednesday afternoon at the U B Church officiated by Rev. Riggie. Interment followed at Bakeview cemetery.
