Repairs at Warsaw Electric Plant are delayed and will not be completed before some time next week. The article notes partial darkness as the new school house and local area affected by ongoing construction and power issues.
Repairs at the Warsaw light plant are expected soon but current from Goshen keeps voltage low. Businesses resort to kerosene lights as the Warsaw outage, due to heavy load, may last until mid next week.
Mrs. L. H. Zobrosky residing south of town underwent an operation at her home last week for appendicitis. She had been ill only a short time and at latest reports was progressing as well as could be expected.
John Engle, longtime resident of the A. B. Cline farm west of town, moved last Saturday to his own tract of several acres northeast of Afentone, a property he recently purchased.
Mrs Eliza J Clark of Royal Centre dies at age 83 after two weeks of illness from complications of diseases. She was the mother of Mrs John Leffel who lived southeast of town.
Robbers entered W. A. Baugher general store at Liberty Mills Sunday night and took several hundred dollars worth of merchandise. The haul included about 100 pounds of sugar 35 pounds of candy more than 25 pairs of overshoes and a large quantity of underwear calico and outing fabric. The criminals carried out their theft with little resistance and escaped.
Last week L W Royse assumed duties as judge of the Kosciusko Circuit Court after being elected November 2 EB Bowser who led the court eight years opened a Warsaw law office. Bowser will work with his son Francis Bowser a recent law school graduate.

Burl Haney is reported to be recovering well, with the physician optimistic if no further complications arise.

In the same period a stenographer in the fish and game division of conservation reported her purse with 40 dollars and a diamond watch stolen from her desk.
L Harkness and family returned to their Hudson Michigan home after a two week visit with the William Wiley family. They also visited relatives in Wabash and Bourbon during their stay.

The trapping season for skunk raccoon fox and opossum opened last Saturday and runs until February 2. Mink and muskrat season began November 1 and ends March 31, with conflicting laws allowing mink and muskrat trapping in open periods while other fur bearers require different timing.
Miss Blanche Helser employed east of town assists at the Dick Cripe home caring for a little girl who arrived Saturday.

Charles Nellens of near Akron pleaded guilty to stealing an overcoat from Mervill Horner in a Mentone church on Sunday November 14. He was bound over to court under $500, unable to furnish bond, and confined in the county jail awaiting trial.
Scott Lawrence and family, living with Mrs Rebecca Colbert since last spring, moved into their remodeled property at the Jefferson and Walnut corner. Work paused by lack of materials for the stucco.
The International Live Stock show arrives in Chicago next week drawing livestock industry interest. The Chicago Board of Trade allocates 10000 to honor grain and hay exhibits. The Birth Record Word announces the arrival of a nine pound son at the home of Mr. and Mrs. Everett Parker in Nile Michigan. The baby has been named Edwin DeWayne. Mr. Parker is the son of Mr. and Mrs. J. L. Parker who live northwest of the town.
D H Clymer a native of the county who owned and managed the Mentone Gazette engaged in the fruit business in Bail California. He moved to Loganspor Mentone and has been in California only a short time. The notice appears on another page of this issue of the Ri ORD.
